hmm.. there's nothing much to blog about i guess.. just have been occupied with going to school everyday.. and then come home and laze around.. hahaha..

oh then we had our histology lab.. quite cool how they put the slides.. =D they never had this in mgs and ac.. and it has been so long since i last touched a microscope.. i still find it boring.. hahaha
charmaine chai and i at the pyjamas party held by my residence.. too bad i didn't have cute pyjamas to wear.. hahaha! we ate.. then we played... monopoly! hahaha super childish but it has been a while too.. i think the last time was when i played with jiejie and xuef in our house.. remember? =D it's funny how we took a picture in front of the microwave.. hahaha
oh.. and this is me.. i was suppose to be reading my physics lecture notes.. but since it's physics.. i lost concentration.. hahahaha! and since it was quite shameless to take your own picture.. i added brother bear in.. hahahah
the weather has been really cold for the past few days.. and will be for the next few too.. has been raining abit.. which is good for australia 'cos of the water storage problem.. but not good for me 'cos i don't have an umbrella and my poor feet and hands are so cold. hahahah!
the twins are coming on 2nd.. can't wait to see them! =D

hia hia hia.. the supermarket was selling tim tam VALUE PACKs for $3.99!! hahahah! so of course i had to grab one..
shiok.. and they had not 1, but TWO rows of tim tams.. woooooo.. hahahaha! =D
i had a sudden craving for tim sum 2 days ago during lecture.. hahaha! so we decided to go to Shark Fin House at chinatown for some yummy tim sum!! =D everyone says that it's really good..
more people were supose to go.. but they backed out in the end.. so only 10 of us went.. but it was really really fun!!! =D
hahaha! looks like a wedding dinner photo.. just that there's no food on the table.. 'cos it's all in our stomachs already.. hahahaha.. anyway, I SHOULD HAVE EATEN MORE!!! hahahahahahah! but the food was really good.. i think nicer than the ones that i have had in singapore.. =D
then after that.. we spilt up.. chai, tae, hanting and i walked all the way to southern cross.. to shop!!! hahahaha! =D Direct Factory Outlet again.. so shiok!!! i finally bought a pair of jeans!!! hahaha! very cheap leh!!! levis for $49.95 only!!! shiokness lah!!! i brought ALOT of jeans into the dressing room.. hahahah! really happy to get proper jeans.. to prepare me for winter.. if not all my 3/4 jeans won't do.. =D
oh ya! and it was reallllly cold today! max was 19 degrees lah!!! and the wind was soooo strong! hahahaha! the past 2 days the weather has been verrrry hot.. australia's weather is really weird. hahahaha! not like we don't know that already.. hahaha
oh and i bought two sashes for $6 only! hahahah very cheap.. and a cutesy "m&m-s" coaster for my cup.. hahaha! and a necklace for $3! =D
hanting and i took super long to shop lah!! hahahaha! tae and chai went two rounds around the place and we weren't done.. hahahah!
then after that we found out that the other singaporens were at arman's house in the city.. so we went to visit too.. it was just across the road from DFO lah! hahaha so shiok.. he'll be the first to see the new stock.. hahaha!
they were watching army daze (super old singaporean movie about army life!! hahaha).. but the four of us hid behind the couch talking and eating.. hahahaha!
then we left and went to eat nandos!!! soooooooo yummy! =D everyone should try nandos. =D
then we walked all the way back to the city centre again.. and there was a greek festival going on!! hahahah! very nice.. they had a few rides right in the middle of the city in a street.. hahaha! then there was greek food.. and there was a stage with a live band (playing greek music) and alot of people dancing the greek dance.. they dance in a circle.. nice nice.. =D
australia is so multi-cultural.. hahaha! greek community, italian community, chinese community, vietnamese community, jew community etc etc.. =D
and so we're back home now! =D john (my housemate) baked an apple pie!!! it's yummy!! =D it's so cool... my housemates really know how to cook.. hahaha! then he forced me to have a slice.. hahaha! Jesus is so good.. He really gave me housemates whom i can get along with.. hahahah! we'll just joke and laugh at each other lah.. hahaha! laura's (my other housemate) sister is here to visit too.. =D
lalala.. oh ya!! i was watching prison break season two yesterday!! so exciting!! hahahaha! but i think a show can't drag for too long.. if not it'll get too boring.. but unlike House, it's like, each episode is a new case.. so that's different.. and like Friends too.. but then for prison break, the whole show evolves around the same plot.. so it's kinda risky.. just like Lost.. =D
ok! i think i'm going to eat my tim tam now and watch season two of house.. hee =D
oh ya, should i get the toyota echo instead??

hee hee hahaha! =D
i decided to treat myself to salmon! hahahah! 1 fillet though.. 'cos it's ex.. hahahah!
and i decided to try the asparagus and cauliflower, with the cheese melted over it too! lim wei, pahm, remember we had that for the christmas party? i've been wanting to try that for ages... =D
and i bought my prawns too!! =D =D
it turned out yummyness!! =D =D
there was the scrambled egg left over from cooking the prawns.. and mashed potato!! =D
prawns were soooo fresh! hahahaha! and salmon was yummy! =D but it could have been more burnt. hahahah! and i left the veggies in the oven for too long so the cheese was alittttttle burnt.. just a little bit.. hahahah! prawns were quite oily too! hahahah my face so oil now.. =D
yay yay!! =D =D now all that is in my stomach.. hahaha
oh ya! i also decided to try this Fried Chicken Bun from school.. it's nice leh!! hahahaha

look how cool this is!!! this's a basker along the streets in the city.. he was like making a picture out of spray paints!! he used like lids and pots and newspaper and paper to create a picture.. quite abstract too! it was so so cool.. i really admire people who are so artistic and creative.. hahahah! and you'll never find this in singapore.. hahaha!
we met inge for dinner in the city too! eelin didn't reply my message.. maybe she was mugging. hahahah!
we went to this shanghai dumplings restaurant in chinatown that inge said was yummy.. the restaurant is located in a small alley.. and they had like boards of their menu just at the door.. and there was alot of vandalism!! hahaha! look at this..

and there were alot more lah! it was really hilarious.. and chai and charmaine were really really tickled by it. hahahah!
we had shanghai fried noodles.. which was yummy!! but very oily.. but still yummy.. and some hot and spicy chicken with rice.. which was alright.. and there were fried dumplings too that were ok only lah.. hahaha! inge said that they changed the chef.. and that they were nicer last time.. too bad we didn't come earlier.. hahaha
then we went to Dessert House for dessert! had fruit with sago.. hahaha.. nice and sweet =D
today mandy intro-ed me to a new packet drink!!! it's green milk tea!! it's yummyness to the max!! hahahah
but...... look at the fat content!!! =( =( =( i was even planning on getting a carton of this lor! but cannot lah.. hahahah.. so much saturated fats.. hahaha

we were lazy to cook so we went to clayton town to try their korean bbq!
it was quite popular! 'cos they had alot of customers! =D
and the tables were so wide! hahahah! huichai was seated so far from me.. hahaha!

serene remember last time when we went to kimchi grandma, there was another type of bottle? the quite cool one? hahahah! they also had it at this restaurant, and as a matter of fact, some other restaurants also have them.. it's quite common here..
food was good! =D must go back there with more friends so that we can have the bbq! =D so fun! =D but my jacket stunk of that horrible oily smell when we left. hahaha

disappointed to the max!!!!! =( =( =(
today charmaine and i happily went down to the city for the Moomba festival.. it's a once-a-year water festival along the yarra river.. and our main purpose was to watch the nice fireworks display..
so we braved the cold and the winds and chose a nice spot along the river to watch the fireworks.. but then.. soon after they announced that the fireworks display was cancelled due to the winds!!!! STUPID WINDS!!!
we were so so so so so disappointed and were sobbing all the way.. boo =(
never mind.. next year then.. =(

oh man. sorry i haven't updated this for so long.. i actually wrote a post some time ago.. but saved it as a draft.. and never continued it. hahahha
ok i'm just going to summarise.. if i can even remember what happened for the past week lah. hahaha
1. i drove! hahahaha! so proud of myself..
this was the car i drove..
mummy, i want the toyota yaris.. hee hee.. =D
2. school started! classes start at 9am everyday for me.. and end around 3pm. soooo tiring.. i don't like!! and there's so much that were taught already.. so very sian diao leh.. i don't wanna revise them.. hahahah
3. i visited planetshakers on sunday.. the praise and worship was good. but they had a guest speaker that night.. so i wanna hear their senior pastor preach first.. =D
4. we celebrated ac's founder's day. madness lah! hahahah! eelin and her friends gathered as many ac people as they could at this eastern european restaurant in st. kilda for dinner.. many turned up! quite cool lah.. =D
and it's really crazy.. 'cos we walked to the beach to sing the school song.. (in front of a restaurant).. and we did the hokkein cheer too.. madness to the max lor. hahahaha

5. brother bear is watching me..
6. we went to luna park at st. kilda's! it's a theme park.. for free! and we had the whole park to ourselves 'cos our residence booked it.
i really felt like puking after the viking. i'm never gonna take that again. hahaha

8. i miss my family and friends in singapore very very very much =(
